Serving the community with unity, transparency and purpose

SISMA (incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009) is a non-profit, humanitarian and community association dedicated to the welfare of Muslims of Tamil Nadu (India) origin or lineage, residing in New South Wales, Australia.

We aim to develop and support various needs of our members, especially the younger generation, including education, career, and social development. Through our activities, SISMA promotes a harmonious relationship with other communities in Australia. Constitution Reference: Part 1, Clause 1

Membership

Join our growing community

General Member

Open to Muslims of Tamil Nadu origin or their spouses/descendants. Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident residing in NSW and at least 18 years old. Full voting rights and eligible for all committee positions.

Associate Member

Open to members not of Tamil Nadu origin who meet faith, residency, and age requirements. Must hold a visa with work rights (Student/Temp Work/Partner/Bridging). Voting rights included but cannot hold elected committee positions.

SISMA aims to develop and support various needs of its members, especially the younger generation, and to promote a harmonious relationship with other communities in Australia.
